Director of Accounting & Tax Job 

Due to the company’s strong global growth, we are looking for hardworking, motivated and committed team members.

This role will require you to relocate to Germany – please only apply if this is of interest and speak fluent German.

Your tasks

  • As Director Accounting & Tax (f/m/d), you are responsible for the technical and disciplinary leadership of the Futrue Group's accounting team.

  • In collaboration with the Group CFO, you drive the strategic development of the finance functions with a high degree of freedom for your own ideas.

  • You will be responsible for the coordination and preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) and IFRS (in the future) of the FUTRUE Group.

  • You keep track of the monthly closing process, especially intercompany reconciliations and sales tax issues.

  • You act as an operational and technical contact (f/m/d) for our tax consultants, auditors and auditors. You will also coordinate tax issues and keep an eye on all tax matters of the FUTRUE Group.

  • You organize and support projects related to accounting and balancing. You are also responsible for optimizing our processes and IT systems and connecting them to other systems in the group.

Your profile

  • You have a degree in economics, ideally with a focus on accounting, accounting or similar, as well as further professional training, for example as an international accountant.

  • You have several years of specialist and ideally management responsibility in accounting as well as in-depth accounting knowledge according to HGB; Knowledge of IFRS is an advantage. Ideally, you have already worked in one of the Big 4 auditing firms.

  • You are experienced in using common MS Office programs and ideally already have experience working with DATEV, SAP Business One or Lucanet.

  • You are characterized by an analytical and structured way of working as well as a hands-on mentality, are a real team player and enjoy overseeing and optimizing complex processes.

  • You have business fluent German and English skills (at least C1 level)
