Senior Manager Group Accounting & Consolidation Job

This role will require you to relocate to Germany – please only apply if this is of interest and you can speak fluent German.

Your tasks

  • As a financial accountant (f/m/d), you act as an important contact person (f/m/d) for “your” companies in accounting matters.

  • As an accountant, you independently manage the complete accounting of your companies; You will record incoming invoices using our DocuWare workflow management system, post receipts, communicate with banks, handle sales tax verification, and continuously maintain the income statement and balance sheet accounts.

  • You prepare monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB), determine provisions and take care of the accounting and valuation of our fixed assets.

  • You evaluate accounting and commercial law issues and make regulatory reports to the responsible authorities.

  • In addition, you will take on exciting special tasks and project activities.

Your profile

  • You have a completed business degree or commercial training with further training to become a financial or accountant (f/m/d).

  • Ideally, you have initial professional experience in financial or balance sheet accounting and have knowledge of accounting (HGB).

  • You are experienced in using common MS Office programs and ideally have already worked with SAP Business One.

  • You have a great affinity for numbers, enjoy recording and implementing new processes and are characterized by a high level of organizational skills and a friendly demeanor. 

  • You have business fluent German skills (at least C1 level) and good English skills (at least B1 level).
