Live-in House Manager Job in Surrey

A Live-in House Manager is sought for a private residence in the Surrey Hills. The position is a permanent, full-time role requiring the candidate to live-in. The family is not in-residence full time, though when they are based at the Property, the House Manager must be flexible and adjust their working hours accordingly.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced House Manager to work as part of a wider team and to look after an impressive household, working to an exceptionally high standard. The family are seeking a loyal, accommodating, and positive person, to help them with their needs.

Main duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Responding to family requests and assisting with family needs daily – this may include PA tasks and running errands.

  • Driving of luxury cars may be required within London and surrounding rural areas.

  • Liaise with the Estate manager on important aspects of house maintenance, preventative maintenance and fault reporting.

  • Delegation and management of day-to-day tasks with other staff members (house and garden).

  • Manage expenses for supplies to a budget and as instructed by the family - this may include the management of day-to[1]day expenses.

  • Supporting household staff with housekeeping and laundry when required.

  • To maintain a household manual, SOP and inventory.

Accommodation: The accommodation provided will be outside of the main house but within the curtilage of the Estate. 2 bedroom lodge

Essentials:

  • A minimum of 3-years’ experience as a House Manager, in a similar setting.

  • Experience working within a wider team.

  • DBS Check.

  • Valid UK Driving Licence.

  • Confidential and discreet at all times.

Salary: £50,000 GPA with all bills included
